Well gents, I have now got a new gearbox on the boat , but it is not yet connected due to various reasons, like not all the parts being delivered, and the engineer having to go away on different courses.

It is all becoming very frustrating, and annoying to say the least.

I am hoping that all being well, and things starting to go my way, I should be back in action next week sometime.

I have fitted the new fish finder now, but with all the deck up in the wheelhouse it has been impossible to do much more, although I have removed some of the excess gear that was sculling around, but there is a lot more to go yet.

Once I have got all the deck back down in the wheelhouse then I can start to give the old girl a bit of a smarten up.

I am due out of the water again at the beginning of next month for a lick of paint on the hull, at the rate that I am going on and off the slipways at the moment I am starting to feel like a bloody yo-yo, still spring is just around the corner, and I am really itching to get fishing once more, as I am sure that all of you must be.

Anyway that’s about it for now, I am sorry that I haven’t got any really positive news to give you all, but I am really hoping to be back in action by next week-end.
